So our buxom heroine is dragonkind or just using a royal "we"?

Fairly certain she's referring to her dragonkind status.

Glad I went and checked.

I forgot how well played the first scene works. Gonna have to reread the whole thing again

I think she's a dragonkind.

Not exactly sure why they're giggling though?

Going out on a limb here ....

That nightie just got pretty thoroughly soaked.

That feeling when your minor downpour spell is immediately outdone by mother nature.

Not only was Venne outdone in the rain department, Nature also showed off with a nice lightning strike. :D

I for one welcome this sudden downpour and all the transparent fabric it has created.

I think they're laughing because she cast a rain spell only for it to start raining. I'm also curious if Tia is 'with' the king and queen. Wasn't she supposed to get married to someone else?

It's interesting to see what gets missed. I constantly have to reassess what I think I've said clearly enough. :|

Ok, I am getting it that she started the shower to get the bug fire to die out but the lighting strike started a BIGGER fire! so that made the knight laugh.

Ah yes, that's certainly a possibility too.
I like it. :)

It would also mean that spells can have unintended side effects.

Giggles for making the most glowy bug bait reside with their majesties, and last part because of transparent fabrics. I was thrown a tad from the "pour down" preview, but there is 1 spell-caused deluge after 2 fire bugs die.

Using magic, Venne created a little rainstorm putting rain directly on the ground where the demon made it fiery. Right after she did that, a natural rainstorm started dumping lots of rain everywhere. Unless her magic somehow served as a catalyst for the actual rain, she could have just waited a few seconds and nature would have taken care of the fiery ground, which is funny. If her magic did somehow cause the rain that is soaking her now, that's funny too.
