Whew, this page took a long time. Life can be crowded sometimes.

When an area remains in drought there is often deserting.

So at the other end of God's Spine, Mouth is dry. But some large cups are about to help out.

Some folks would just wipe the stain with a damp cloth and hope nobody would notice.

Oh, that's a mid-air drip falling off the bread. So that's why I can't squash that gnat on my screen. (°°)

Sometimes you want some tako, but usually just some taco.

Is this a hollow-earth world where things fall into The Pit? I'd expect in reality such voids would get filled with water pretty quick. "Hey where did the ocean go?"

Nah, it's basically a legend.

Well, obviously in a hollow Earth the gravity inside would be facing outward, so the water would only fall so far before it was repelled.

Nah, there'd still be more than half the sphere pulling on a drop until it got to the center, and right after it passed center there'd be more than half pulling it right back.

So all the surface water would eventually get pulled into a planetary core of water with dissolved minerals. And you'd need a bucket on the end of a rope thousands of miles long to get a drink.

Real fun happens when the dissolved uranium and similar elements settle at the center and achieve criticality. High-pressure self-regulating boiling-water reactor shielded by itself. But further out, possibly lots of radioactive high-mercury fish.

I liked it when the comic pages had page numbers.
