I'm not sure how this is going to go badly, only that it cannot go well.

Truly, Guin is the arbiter of justice, exposing the scoundrels to those fine, young, gentlemen.

The scoundrels before a judge to be tried for crimes. That's justice. This isn't. It's near to become a lynching.

Considering how strong dragonkind are, that ear pinch probably hurts a lot!

Remember that she is a cat. That means she will make trouble sometimes just because she can.

She's a cat? The memory eludes me. Link?

I said Venne would be upset. Looks like I nailed it.

Not... not actually... but like her personality.

A technically lawful action with big chaotic energy, just like Guin herself, Knight/Rogue multiclass and all that

This looks like an orgy in the making.

Or a fight. What was the right word again?! So confusing ...

Is this the first time we’ve seen Venne this angry? I know we’ve seen her annoyed and displeased before, but never with quite a vicious expression as this.

So going by that one Wolf Knight's comment of "Ugh...more book knights" they are not terribly impressed, nor terribly fond of Book Knights.

This makes me very curious about the various knightly orders, what they do, and how they relate to one another.

Book knights are not very well respected, because they are wholly controlled by the magic guild.

Crown knights are the richest, but nobody respects them because they just protect rich assholes that never go anywhere anyway.

Wolf knights are pretty good, but nobody respects them because they just bum around the woods killing shit.

A world where nobody respects military elites. Imagine that.

They're multinational, so no power hungry leaders propagandize them.

Ah, a Rodney Dangerfield moment. "No respect... No respect at all!"

If Book Knights are wholly controlled by the magic guild, then Guin can blame the mage for what Lacey did and get her fellow Book Knights in the clear. And that's a rogue mage being brought in our charges so he'll be punished anyway...
