Omg, I love it! Thank you so much View!!! I actually make that exact face/v pose in all my selfies lately too, I’m so thrilled. =D =D

I actually somehow missed it last page. I read it earlier today (18 hours ago, when I first got to work) but l must have been still asleep since I didn’t see it then lol.

As to the actual mechanics, manashrooms have such a high cost for such a specific (niche, almost) benefit, but when you need that benefit I’ll bet you really need that benefit.

As a side note, I’ve been rereading all of your comics lately. I reread NMtG for the first time, and then I went and reread both space pulp and scrub diving, for the 3rd time and 4th time, respectively. They’re just really fun stories that are continually delightful.

I forgot to add it to the last page until a few hours after it was posted, sorry!

Glad you like it, and thanks for the reads!

Oh, and about the cost: burned stats usually regen over time.

If spirit is the one stat that's not regenerating...

But the real question is, what effect does smoking a manashroom have on cool?

Takes off half or more. It's not cool.

Ah, so Venne was being sneaky, clever girl.

Though, with the amount she smoked, she would have been on the edge of going all the way down to zero on some stats. 😂

But how fast is Spirit replenished by periods of prayer and/or meditation? A few hours of quiet solitude seems preferable to burned stats.

Normally, one point per hour.

The problem is that the spirit inhibits it.

So that's how it worked... in hindsight, it explains a lot. Knowing this, One should read this chapter agait, it's completely different now. (Much like NMtG which I don't dare to read again.)
