[Not a metal dagger?]

Not a dagger, just an elbow.

I hoped it was clear that she was drawing and stabbing with a dagger... :|

The dagger seems obvious. It would have had to be an exceedingly sharp elbow otherwise.

Yeah, I'm just blind. I figured the elbow as a dagger would be something he could forge.

Yeah, that's the plot point on the next page!

Could be an enchanted dagger.

I couldn't tell it was a dagger either and I think I know why. I confused the white blade of the dagger for her forearm armor, and it made sense to me that she could use her elbow to pop his eye. It's a big eye and elbows are pointy, plus he couldn't forge her elbow :P

I did notice what happens in the 5th panel, but I actually thought she was sheathing something. If I realized it was a dagger in the 6th one it would've been obvious. I'm a bit annoyed now though, because the dagger is soooo very obvious in the first and fourth panels...

Will we get more big bois that were former townsfolk turned evil?

The blink effects were confusing for me. I though at first that the giant had cut her arm and leg off. Then I thought she was blinking out of her armor. Then I got it.

I actually think that's my favorite part of this panel. While perhaps slightly confusing at first glance, I think it does a stunning job of conveying just how much dexterity this character is supposed to have, and how utterly fast she is moving in this fight. I feel it was a fantastic way to convey the complex dance of a blinkingly fast battle in individual frames of time like this, and without video mediums.

It actually reminds me of those videos of propellers, where it looks like the propeller is warping and deforming but actually it's just moving in sync (or barely out of sync) with the camera shutter

Hmmm... didn't she slice the chain apart, instead of unlocking it?

I guess he's using magical pactical powers to repair it, and the townsfolk must've unlocked the thing somehow before running off (or he's able to fix the whole thing with his powers)

He has a lot of blacksmithing-related powers.

He didn't fake this scream, I'm thinking.
